The team who are here to help

At 19 Beaumont Street we work with a large team that are here to support you. In addition to our doctors and practice nurses the following people may be of particular help:

  • Practice pharmacists – able to advise on any queries relating to medication.
  • District nurses – who can visit at home if you need nursing care but are not well enough to come in to the surgery – for example for dressing changes.
  • Social prescribers – who can help with arranging practical and emotional support and signposting to different support services. They can provide advice on benefits.
  • Health Coach – works in partnership with patients to guide and support them towards health changes they want to make

Everyone living with cancer is eligible for free prescriptions – please contact the surgery to ask for the necessary form.
