The Freedom of Information Act grants members of the public a right to access information held by public authorities.

The obligation of the practice is to publish certain information proactively and respond to requests for information.

There are some types of information which are exempt from disclosure. 

  • Personal information
  • Confidential information

Information that includes small numbers of people which could identify individuals

Patients must make the request in writing, describing the information needed.  Please include the name and address of the applicant but you do not need to say why you want the information.
We should respond to these requests within 20 days.
